Have you ever wondered what Jesus was up to in the week that led up to his arrest, trial, crucifixion, and resurrection?  Below are some passages of Scripture that give us some insight.  Consider reading each passage on the day that it takes place.  Read it in the morning, and then think about it throughout the day.  For the passages that take place at night, consider reading it late in the evening, too.   Ask yourself, What are the implications of Jesus’ actions for you?

Saturday (March 19) – John 12:1-11

Sunday (March 20) – Mark 11:1-11 or Luke 19:29-44

Monday (March 21) –  Matt. 21:12-20

Tuesday (March 22) – Matt 21:23-27; 22:1-22, 34-37

Wednesday (March 23) – Silence (Consider spending some time silently reflecting on the week)

Thursday (March 24) – Matt. 26:1-30 and Matt. 26:31-68

Friday (March 25) –  Luke 22:66 – 23:25, Matt. 27:31-61

Saturday (March 26) – Rev. 1:18, 1 Pet. 3:19ff
